Who's this bitch?

Carver is a character in the actual play TTRPG show Vampire the Masquerade: L.A. by Night. He's played by actor Taliesin Jaffe. Carver's a 12th generation Brujah, a major player in the Anarch Movement, and is the sire of one of the main characters, Annabelle. Mystery surrounds him as a character, and we're never given a good idea of what his plans and motivations are-- aside from his desire to take down the Camarilla.

Personality-wise, Carver is a rather callous and rude individual, seeing no point in pleasantries and being unashamedly self interested. He makes what he wants clear and doesn't bullshit people, and he takes no value from other people's opinions of him. Despite this all, he's never intentionally malicious to anyone, and he doesn't claim any ownership of Annabelle as many sires tend to do to their childer.

Carver is a die-hard anarch, and all of his machinations lead toward the goal of taking down the Camarilla. He has no qualms with using violence or other immoral means such as manipulation, arson, etc. to further his goals. It seems he believes he's doing the just thing to ultimately protect people. He has a particular interest in Thin-Bloods, but it's never made clear what exactly his fascination with them is. I personally theorize that his ultimate goal was to help the Thin-Bloods mobilize, organize, and grow their powers, because if the Book of Nod is true in them being the undoing of modern vampire society, then it'd mean the collapse of the Camarilla and kindred could have true freedom. Why do I care he?

On May 16th, 2022, I watched episode 5 of LAbN and saw Carver for the first time, and I was instantly obsessed with him. One might say it was love at first sight. He has since become my number one fictional partner, and even when my attention is stolen by another character, I still think about him often too. In all honesty, I have no idea why he's cemented himself so fully in my brain, but he's certainly here to stay. While I don't see my fictional partners equal to a real life relationship as some self-shippers do, Carver comes about as close as it can get with me lol. I just love him SO damn much.

Carver is just the peak for everything to me. He's absolutely gorgeous, calls people petnames (hello???), is punk as hell, is straight-forward and says his feelings clearly... Perfect. Wonderful. Impossible to do better. I desire him carnally. I want to paint his nails, and drive across the country in his shitty early 00's truck, and listen to all the music he likes. I recognize that he's an asshole, and he'd probably put himself before me if we were together, but I simply do not care. On all levels except physical, he is my life partner. If i thought he believed in the institution of marriage, I'd call him my husband.

I have an oc named Gabriel Moore that I made to ship with him, and have an exceedingly long and detailed storyline for them thought of that I eventually was to create into a longform comic if I can ever get the motivation to do so. In the future, I'm planning on making an additional page dedicated to Gabe and their relationship. I'll add the link here once I eventually do.
